It will be best if you develop your code of conduct as a group, so that it becomes a living document and everyone feels represented and included in it. 

However, it is important to be conscious of the fact that your group might not be representative of different perspectives and needs. This means that you may need to evaluate and update your code of conduct every now and then.

Try to be as inclusive as possible based on all of the grounds of discrimination and other perspectives on marginalization.

Code of conduct on the internet

Moderating your cyber rooms based on your clearly formulated code of conduct. Having a code of conduct prepared means that you can refer to them when someone in your cyber room crosses the line. This way, it is also possible to refer to them when deciding consequences and penalties. 

NOTE: make sure that everyone who breaks the code of conduct received a penalty. Internet trolls look for poorly moderated comment sections.
